I am a slacker.. I've fallen behind with things here on DA and trying to play catch up is nigh imposssible! Please forgive me for not getting to some of your Deviations from the last week.. as well as comments and such. I'm doing my best, but it's a sinking ship.

Aside from spending the holidays with guests and more, the New Year started out with a viral infection >.< I swear in the last month I've been more "sick" than I have my entire life. The problem this time was all the DR's offices were closed, so I had no way to get penicillin. Hence my throat was killing me for almost two weeks.. and I've still got residual cold effects happening. Bah! Humbug!

Though in my sickly state, I did discover DAZ as you can see from my two most recent Deviations. They are far from great, but I'm getting there. I'm in awe of this little program and can't believe I never really tried it before! The one thing I love about doing any artwork is the painting and creation.. this enables me to do more of that in terms of creating my "own" character rather than constantly use stock or image references! Then I can paint them however I wish.. add clothes, settings - the whole thing!. I hope to improve in this facet of my art... so any tips would be much appreciated!
